Intermediate colleges in Telangana will be closed from Saturday for summer vacations for the academic year 2014-15. They will reopen for the next academic year on June 1, according to the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education. The Intermediate Board asked all the government, aided and private unaided junior colleges in the state not to conduct classes during the vacation. The board gave special directions to the private unaided junior colleges to stop the practice of holding classes during summer vacation and conducting admissions prior to the release of admission schedule by the Intermediate Board. The board warned the colleges with severe action for any violation of the given instructions.
