IT and MNC attract investments to the Telangana State: KTR


IT and Panchayat raj minister K.T. Rama Rao who has successfully completed US tour on an aim to attract investments to the newest State, said that the Multinational Companies have agreed to make investments to the tune of Rs 3,000 crore in IT and other sectors in Telangana.

KTR has returned to the State capital after three weeks of his US tour and his meet with several industrialists and CEOs of top companies and several NRIs promoting the state. He has highlighted the new industrial policy of state with fast clearances for setting up their units, besides promoting the state on vast resources available including the land, power, water, infrastructure facilities and the excellent investment climate.

The State IT Minister informed that he has met representatives of 30 corporates who are keen on investing in the Telangana state. “We have emphasized on the vast resources and investment opportunities in establishment of industries in various sectors. There has been tremendous response, and I’m confident there would be huge investments in Telangana in the future and you will see huge change next year.”

KTR on Wednesday will visit Mumbai to meet the Tata group chairman Cyrus Mistry to discuss on the Company’s expansion plans in the state. The Panchayat Raj Minister has also reviewed the Water Grid project and the IT department works.
