- Tax row between Telangana and AP affects petrol supply in Telangana districts
A row over imposition of taxes between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states has resulted in shortage of petrol and diesel in some Telangana districts. Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, Khammam and Karimnagar have been facing acute shortage of petrol and diesel for the last three days, hitting commuters hard.

The Intelligence Security Wing's overenthusiastic move to create the 'Line of Control' (LoC) between the Secretariats of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Saturday has not only attracted criticism, but also exposed that serious thought was not given to fire response in case of an emergency. In case a fire breaks out at the Telangana Secretariat, it may take at least 10 minutes for fire officials to reach the location.
