It came as a surprise to Sai Chetan when he learned that he secured the all-India second rank in IIT-JEE (Advanced) exam.
When he
completed the exam, the Telangana boy felt he might get anything below rank 10, but his hard work seemed to have given him what he deserves.
"I am a little weak in chemistry and so my plan was to complete chemistry first. But the moment I opened the question paper, it turned out to be otherwise," said Sai who wishes to pursue computer science and engineering at IIT Bombay. "So, I decided to solve mathematics but found myself confused with a few questions. Finally, I finished physics and then completed mathematics," he said.
While chemistry was a worry to Sai, during the exam he thought whatever he scored in chemistry would only be a bonus. He ended up scoring 322/360.
"One should always be confident about their capabilities. I was nervous too, but, that only put me into trouble earlier," said Sai who went to the Narayana CO-School in Hyderabad and scored 523/530 in the Class 12 examination.
